About PPTX Files
PPTX has been PowerPoint's default format since 2007. It stores slides, layouts, speaker notes, animations, transitions, images and embedded video as XML and media files inside a ZIP archive. Keynote, Google Slides and LibreOffice Impress open and save PPTX, though fonts and animations can change between apps. If you need people to view slides exactly as designed, export a PDF; if they need to present them, send the PPTX along with any custom fonts.

- Windows & Mac
- Open it in PowerPoint, Keynote, LibreOffice Impress or WPS Office.
- Any device
- Open it in Google Slides or PowerPoint on the web, both free.
- iPhone & Android
- Use the PowerPoint, Google Slides or Keynote app.
