About Blank 3D Model
An empty but valid 3D file is useful for testing model viewers, slicers, game engines, upload forms and conversion pipelines, or as a starting file for scripts that write geometry. This tool creates minimal files that follow each format's rules: an ASCII or binary STL with no triangles, an OBJ with just a comment, a PLY with zero vertices, a glTF 2.0 scene with no nodes, the same as a binary GLB, and a COLLADA DAE with an empty visual scene. Pick a format and download it.
How to Use It
- 01
Pick a format
Choose STL (ASCII or binary), OBJ, GLB, glTF, PLY or DAE.
- 02

Press Create Model.
- 03
Use it
Open it in a viewer, Blender or your pipeline to test empty-model handling.
Questions
Will the model show anything?
No. The files are valid but contain no geometry, so viewers show an empty scene.
Why does a binary STL take 84 bytes?
Binary STL always starts with an 80-byte header and a 4-byte triangle count, which is zero here.
Which format should I test with?
STL for 3D printing tools, GLB or glTF for web and game engines, OBJ, PLY or DAE for modelling apps.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The model file is generated in your browser.
