About Bulk Rename Files
Photos called IMG_4821.jpg, scans called document (3).pdf and exports with random names are hard to sort. This tool renames a batch of files using a pattern. Combine the current name, a running number and today's date, find and replace text, change the letter case, and swap spaces for dashes or underscores. Each file keeps its extension. Because browsers can't change files on your disk, you get renamed copies, which Download All bundles into one ZIP. The order of the list decides the numbering.

Questions
Does it rename the files on my computer?
No. Browsers don't allow websites to change files on your disk. You download renamed copies and can replace the originals yourself.
How do I number files?
Put {n} in the pattern. Set where numbering starts and how many digits to use, such as 001.
Is the file content changed?
No. Only the name changes. The content is identical to the original.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Renaming happens in your browser.
