About Join Audio

Join parts of a recording that was split, combine podcast segments, stitch songs into a mix, or merge voice notes into one file to send. Add the files, put them in order with the arrows, and choose whether to place them back to back, with a short silence between them, or with a crossfade that blends each track into the next. Files of different types, such as MP3, WAV and M4A, can be mixed, and mono and stereo are combined correctly. Save the result as MP3, WAV or OGG.

Questions

Can I mix formats like MP3 and WAV?

Yes. Everything is decoded to the same format first, then joined and saved in the format you choose.

What does crossfade do?

It overlaps the end of each track with the start of the next, fading one out as the other fades in, like a DJ mix.

Is there a limit on length?

Only your device's memory. Joining several hours of audio may be slow on phones.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The audio is joined in your browser.
