About Image to ICO
An ICO file holds the same icon at several sizes, so Windows and browsers can show a sharp version in the taskbar, on the desktop, in folders and in browser tabs. This converter takes a PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, BMP or SVG and creates an .ico with sizes from 16 to 256 pixels, keeping transparency. Sizes larger than your image are left out, so start from at least 256 × 256 pixels for the best result. Images that aren't square are centred on a transparent background. For a complete set of website icons, use the Favicon Generator.
