About Crop Image
Cropping removes distractions and fits a photo to the shape a site expects: a square profile picture, a 4:5 portrait post, a 16:9 banner or a 9:16 story. Add an image, then drag the box to choose the area and drag its corners to resize it. Pick an aspect ratio to lock the shape, or keep it free. The same crop area, measured as a share of the picture, is applied to every image in a batch, which is handy for a series of similar screenshots.

Questions
How do I crop to a perfect square?
Choose 1:1 under Aspect ratio. The box keeps a square shape while you move and resize it.
Can I crop with the keyboard?
Yes. Focus the crop box, then use the arrow keys to move it and Shift with the arrow keys to resize it.
What happens when I crop several images?
Each image is cropped to the same area relative to its size, for example the middle 80 percent. Images of the same size get exactly the same crop.
Does cropping reduce quality?
The kept area is saved at full resolution. JPG and WebP are re-compressed at the quality you set, 92 percent by default, which is visually lossless.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Images are cropped in your browser.
