About ZIP Viewer
Before extracting a large or unfamiliar archive, it helps to know what's in it: which files, how big they are when unpacked, whether any are password-protected, and whether any paths would write outside the folder you extract to, a trick used by malicious archives. This viewer reads only the archive's table of contents, so even multi-gigabyte ZIPs open instantly without unpacking. It also works with ZIP-based formats such as DOCX, XLSX, EPUB, JAR and APK. Download the list as a CSV, and use Unzip Files when you're ready to extract.

Questions
Does it extract the files?
No. It only reads the list of files stored at the end of the archive. Use Unzip Files to extract them.
Why is it so fast for big archives?
It reads only the table of contents, usually a few kilobytes at the end of the file, not the compressed data.
What are unsafe entries?
Paths containing ../ or starting with / that could place files outside the extraction folder. Modern tools block them, but older ones may not.
Can it list password-protected ZIPs?
Yes. File names are usually visible even when the contents are encrypted, and those files are marked.
Is my ZIP uploaded?
No. The archive is read in your browser.
