About Silent WAV
WAV silence is exact: the file contains precisely the number of samples you ask for, with no encoder padding, which matters when you're lining up audio in a video editor or DAW, building test fixtures, or filling a gap of a specific length. Choose the duration in seconds, 44.1 kHz for music or 48 kHz for video, and mono or stereo. The result is a standard 16-bit PCM WAV that every editor, player and operating system opens. MP3 and AIFF are available too.
