About Blank ODT Document
ODT is the open standard document format used by LibreOffice Writer and required by some public bodies and schools. This tool creates a valid, empty ODT with the page size and orientation you choose, A4 or US Letter, portrait or landscape, and 2 cm margins. It opens in LibreOffice, Apache OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, Google Docs and Collabora. Use it as a starting document, a template for an assignment that must be submitted as ODT, or a test file for upload forms.
How to Use It

Choose the page
Pick A4 or US Letter and portrait or landscape.

Create
Press Create ODT.

Open it
Open the file in LibreOffice Writer, Word or Google Docs and start typing.
Questions
Can Microsoft Word open it?
Yes. Word 2010 and later open ODT files and can save them back as ODT.
Is it a valid OpenDocument file?
Yes. It contains the required mimetype entry, manifest, content and styles parts of the ODF 1.3 format.

Is anything uploaded?
No. The document is created in your browser.
