About Split File
Email attachments, chat apps and some upload forms reject files over a certain size. This tool splits any file, such as a video, a disk image or a backup, into smaller parts of a size you choose, or into a set number of equal parts. Parts are named file.001, file.002 and so on, the convention used by 7-Zip and other tools, so they can be rejoined with Join Files here or with common desktop software. Splitting is instant even for gigabyte files, because the parts are cut without copying the data.

Questions
How do I put the parts back together?
Use Join Files and add all the parts in order. 7-Zip can also join them: open the .001 file and extract.
Can the parts be opened on their own?
No. Each part is a raw slice of the file. Only the rejoined file opens normally.
What part size should I use for email?
Gmail and Outlook accept attachments up to about 20–25 MB, so 20 MB parts are a safe choice.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Splitting happens in your browser.
