About Edit PDF Metadata
Every PDF carries hidden document properties: a title that browsers show in the tab, the author's name, subject, keywords, and the apps used to create it. Wrong details look unprofessional, and an author field can reveal a name you didn't mean to share. Add a PDF and its current properties fill the form; change what you like and save. Or tick Remove all metadata to clear the document information and the XMP metadata block before sending a file publicly. Free and quick to use.

Questions
Where does the title appear?
Browsers and many PDF viewers show it in the tab or window title instead of the file name. Search engines may use it too.
What does Remove all metadata clear?
The document information (title, author, subject, keywords, creator, producer, dates) and the XMP metadata packet. Content inside pages, such as text in headers, isn't changed.
Does editing metadata change the pages?
No. Only the document properties change.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The metadata is edited in your browser.
