About Blank HTML File
Every web page starts with the same few lines: the HTML5 doctype, a language attribute, the UTF-8 charset, the mobile viewport tag and a title. This tool writes them for you with your page title and language, so you can open the file in a code editor and start building. Choose Completely empty if you need a 0-byte .html file instead, for example to test an upload form or a server. Other code and text formats are available in Blank Code Files.

Why does the viewport tag matter?
Without it, phones show the page zoomed out as if it were a desktop site.
Can I open it in a browser?

Is anything uploaded?
No. The file is generated in your browser.
