About 1×1 Transparent GIF
The 1 × 1 transparent GIF has been a web staple for decades: a spacer in HTML email layouts, a placeholder image source, and the tiny pixel analytics tools load to count views. GIF is still the most widely supported format for these jobs, including in old email clients. This tool creates a valid GIF89a with one transparent colour, at 1 × 1 by default, but you can make it any size or give it a solid colour instead. The file is only a few dozen bytes, ready to download or embed as Base64.

Questions
How big is a 1×1 transparent GIF?
About 40 bytes, which is why it's been used for spacers and tracking pixels for so long.
How do I use it in HTML email?
Reference it with an img tag and set the width and height you need. Many email clients still respect spacer images where CSS support is limited.
Can I get it as a data URI?
Yes. Download it, then open it in Image to Base64 to get a data:image/gif;base64 string.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The GIF is created in your browser.
