About TIFF to PDF

Scanners and fax software often save documents as TIFF, sometimes with many pages in one file, but few people can open TIFFs easily. A PDF opens on any phone or computer and is what most forms and offices ask for. This tool reads every page of every TIFF you add and places them in a PDF, in order, either fitted to each image or on A4 or Letter pages with margins. Add several TIFFs to combine them into one document, or make a separate PDF for each. It works in Chrome, Edge and Firefox.

Questions

Are all pages of a multi-page TIFF included?

Yes. Every page becomes a PDF page, in the same order.

Is the quality reduced?

Pages are stored as high-quality JPG images, set by the quality option. Text stays sharp at the default of 90%.

Can I search the text in the PDF?

Not directly, because scans are pictures. Run the PDF through Scanned PDF to Text to get the text.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The TIFF is read and the PDF is built in your browser.
