About Add Page Numbers
Page numbers make long documents easier to print, review and discuss. This tool stamps numbers onto each page of a PDF. Choose a position, such as bottom centre or top right, and a format: a plain number, Page 1, Page 1 of 10, 1 / 10 or a dashed style. You can start counting from any number, which helps when the PDF is one part of a larger document, and leave the cover page unnumbered. Sideways pages are handled, so numbers always appear the right way up.

Questions
Can I skip numbering the cover page?
Yes. Tick "Don't number the first page". The second page is then numbered with your starting number.
Can numbering start at a number other than 1?
Yes. Set Start at to any number, for example 25 if this PDF continues an earlier one.
Do numbers appear correctly on landscape pages?
Yes. The tool reads each page's rotation and places the number in the corner you see on screen.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Numbers are added in your browser.
