About Passport Photo Maker
Passport, visa and ID applications ask for photos with exact dimensions, such as 2 × 2 inches in the US or 35 × 45 mm in the UK, EU, India and Australia. Choose your document's size, drag the crop box over your photo, and download either a single photo at 300 or 600 dpi for online applications, or a 4 × 6 inch or A4 print sheet with several copies and cut lines, which you can print at home or at a photo shop for a few cents. It doesn't change your background or face, so start with a well-lit photo against a plain light wall.

Questions
How do I print the photos?
Choose the 4 × 6 in print sheet and order a standard 4 × 6 (10 × 15 cm) print at a pharmacy or photo shop, or print it at home on photo paper at actual size, then cut along the grey lines.
Does it remove or whiten the background?
No. Take the photo against a plain white or light-grey wall so the background already meets the rules.
How should my head fit in the frame?
Rules vary, but most ask for the head, from chin to crown, to fill roughly 70 to 80 percent of the photo height, facing straight ahead with a neutral expression. Check your country's official guidance.
What resolution should I use for online applications?
The single photo at 300 dpi suits most portals. If a site asks for specific pixel dimensions, use Resize Image afterwards.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The photo is cropped in your browser and never leaves your device.
