About Transparent PNG
A transparent PNG is useful as a placeholder in designs and templates, a spacer in emails and layouts, an empty layer for editing apps, or a test file for upload forms that only accept images. Pick a preset such as 1920 × 1080, 1080 × 1080 or a single pixel, or type any width and height up to 16384 pixels. Leave the background transparent, or untick it to fill the image with any colour. The PNG is created instantly with the smallest possible file size.

Questions
How big is a transparent PNG file?
Tiny. A 1 × 1 transparent PNG is under 100 bytes, and even a 1920 × 1080 one is only a few kilobytes, because every pixel is the same.
Will it really be transparent everywhere?
Yes. Every pixel has zero opacity, so apps that support PNG transparency show whatever is behind it. Some image viewers display a checkerboard to show that.
Can I make other formats?
Yes. Change the format to WebP, AVIF, GIF, SVG, TIFF, BMP or ICO, all of which can be transparent, or JPG with a solid colour.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The image is generated in your browser.
