About GIF to PNG
PNG is the modern replacement for GIF for still images: it's lossless, supports smooth transparency and works everywhere. Converting a logo, icon or graphic from GIF to PNG keeps every pixel and its transparent background, and makes the file easier to edit and reuse in documents and design tools. For animated GIFs the first frame is saved as a still PNG. Add as many files as you like and download them individually or together as a ZIP. File names are kept, with only the extension changed.
