About VTT Files
WebVTT is the subtitle format used by HTML5 video on the web. It is similar to SRT but starts with a WEBVTT header, uses a dot before milliseconds and supports positioning, styling and chapter markers. Browsers display VTT captions with the track element, and YouTube, Vimeo and most video platforms accept them.

How do I convert SRT to VTT?
Add WEBVTT as the first line, then change the commas in the timestamps to dots. Subtitle Edit does this automatically.
