About VCF Files
VCF files store contacts in the vCard format: names, phone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses, birthdays and even photos. A single file can hold one contact or thousands. Phones, Outlook, Gmail and iCloud can all import and export VCF, which makes it the easiest way to move contacts between devices. The file is plain text, so you can read it in any text editor.

VCF File Questions
How do I import a VCF into Gmail?
Open Google Contacts, choose Import, and select the VCF file.
Why does Outlook only import the first contact?
Older Outlook versions only read one contact per VCF. Import through Google Contacts or the People app instead, or split the file.
