About GPX Files
GPX is an XML format for GPS data. It stores tracks, which are recorded paths with timestamps, planned routes and waypoints such as points of interest. Sports watches, cycling computers and apps such as Strava, Komoot and Garmin Connect import and export GPX files, so it's the common format for sharing hikes, runs and rides.
