About FB2 Files
FictionBook is an open eBook format that stores a book as a single XML file describing its structure, such as chapters, sections, poems and notes, rather than its appearance. That lets each reader app lay out the book its own way. It is very popular in Russian-speaking countries, and files are often zipped as .fb2.zip. Most Western eBook stores don't use it, but many reader apps support it.
